Goal: To see market risk in practice
Exercise: On any reputable news site find its business section and go through the articles. Identify if the story concerns itself predominantly with a systematic or unsystematic risk. Not all stories will be about risk factors so just move on if it is not obvious. The BBC’s business news feed or Bloomberg is a good free starting point if you want to get more advanced try the FT’s trial.
